Tuition Policy

Tuition is based on an average of 4 weeks per month. Some months may include 5 weeks of classes, while others may have 3 weeks due to holidays. Tuition remains the same each month, no extra charge for 5-week months and no discounts for 3-week months.

Tuition & Payments

• Tuition is due on the 1st of every month.

• All accounts must be enrolled in Auto-Pay through Studio Pro. Payments are automatically processed on the 1st.

• A $25 late fee will be added after the 5th day of the month for any unpaid balance. This fee will continue to accrue monthly until the balance is cleared.

• Accounts with an unpaid balance of 30 days or more will result in the student not being allowed in class until payment is received in full.

• Returned checks will have a $25 service charge added to the account.

 

Attendance, Absences & Make-Up Classes

At KPA, good attendance is the EXPECTATION! Consistent participation is the key to growth, and we strongly recommend that students attend every class in order to see the best results in their training. If your student will be absent, we kindly ask that you notify the front desk as soon as possible.

If you wish to make up for a missed class, you may do so within four weeks of the absence during the current season. Make-up classes are offered in the form of private sessions, which take place on Saturdays and must be booked through your Studio Pro account. Please note that absences cannot be accumulated or applied as credit toward tuition. Tuition will not be prorated or refunded due to absences.

During the first several weeks of class, instructors will evaluate each student to ensure proper class placement for their growth and success. Private lessons are also available for students who wish to receive one-on-one instruction. The rate is $55 for a one-hour session for registered dancers and $100 for a one-hour session for non-registered dancers. For more details or to schedule, please visit the front desk.

 

Dance Attire & Hair

At KPA, proper attire is required for every class to ensure discipline, professionalism, and safety. Students must be dressed appropriately before entering the studio. Hair should always be secured neatly and kept away from the face to allow for full movement and focus.

Ballet: Students must wear the official black KPA leotard, suntan tights (no control tops or lines), and black ballet shoes. Hair should be styled in a bun, either at the back or top of the head. (Purchase Package “Ballet Class Uniform”001)

Jazz, Fusion, Worship: Students should wear a KPA Black or Pink KPA Unitard and black jazz shoes. Hair must be pulled securely out of the face. ( Purchase Package “ Jazz Class Uniform” 002)

Hip-Hop: Students must wear all-black comfortable clothing, free of writing, logos, or designs. Hair should be styled safely and securely to allow for movement.
